JEFFREY K. ZWITTER – Managing Director
Mr. Zwitter is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of Senior Management and Partner level experience in Sales, Marketing, Investment Banking and Venture Capital.
As a senior member of the executive team, Mr. Zwitter works directly with the other members of the team to set corporate strategy and develop new business opportunities. Mr. Zwitter’s primary responsibilities are financing strategy, strategic partnerships and sales and marketing. Mr. Zwitter acts as a primary contact for strategic partners and also supervises our sales team.
Zwitter’s investment experience covers a wide range of both Public and Private companies in industries including Telecom, Healthcare, Internet and early stage biotechnology companies.
In his career Mr. Zwitter has actively participated in identifying, structuring and funding over one hundredtransactions providinggrowth capital for companies. He has also started, built and managed sales teams ranging in size from 10 to 600 sales representatives.
Mr. Zwitter is a Managing Director and Founder of Triton Value Partners, LLC and also serves on the Board of Directors of FusionHealth.
Previously, Mr. Zwitter was a partner at PtekVentures actively involved in the funding and management of start-up companies in the Internet and telecommunications space.
CARL R. NOBACK, M.D. – Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Noback is a physician, teacher, author, researcher and forensic specialist. Dr. Noback is widely recognized as one of the nation’s leading anesthesiologists, and is considered an authority in this highly specialized area of medicine. The unique blend of private practice, academic, research, legal, and information technology experience that Dr. Noback has garnered over his 30 year medical and business career provides ALLYNE unparalleled Practice Optimization expertise.
Dr. Noback attended Yale University where he was recognized as a Yale National Scholar. He received the distinguished honor of becoming a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, in 1980 and became a Board Certified Anesthesiologist, practicing with a subspecialty in Pain Management.
His academic appointments have included the Mayo Clinic, Emory University in Atlanta, the University of Nevada, and the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Noback continues to teach and train other physicians via training and seminars, lectures and books. He’s been published in highly respected medical journals and periodicals worldwide. A recent publication is featured in the authoritative textbook edited by Wall and Melzack, “The Handbook of Pain Management”.
In addition to his work in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, and Forensics, Dr. Noback helped develop an early Pain Procedure specific electronic medical record, integrating patient data, procedure notes, and electronic billing. Integrating clinical data into the Medical Record was a project at Harbor-UCLA with the “Point of Care Project”.
DONALD B. GASGARTH – Managing Director
Mr. Gasgarth is an active private investor and has more than 20 years of experience in the venture capital, investment banking and brokerage businesses.
As a senior member of the executive team, Mr. Gasgarth works directly with other members of the team to set corporate strategy and develop new business opportunities. Don’s primary responsibilities are financing strategy and strategic relationships. Mr. Gasgarth acts as a primary contact for the investment community and potential strategic partners and acquisition candidates.
Don’s investment experience covers a wide range of both Public and Private companies in industries including Telecom, Healthcare and Internet companies.
Mr. Gasgarth is a Managing Director and Founder of Triton Value Partners, LLC and Managing Director of TVP Opportunity Fund, LLC
He was an early stage investor and founding board member of PTEK Holdings (PTEK), an early stage investor in VerticalOne (now SONE), Relevant Knowledge(now JUPM) and several other successful startups. Prior to that, Mr. Gasgarth was a broker at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and a Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance with Dickinson and Co. Mr. Gasgarth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emory University.
PAUL H. FREISCHLAG, JR – Managing Director
Mr. Freischlag is a seasoned, “hands-on” executive with extensive experience in both US and global financial markets, business practices, strategy and operations. He has been involved with a wide variety of business enterprises in the US, Europe, South America and the Far East, including large public corporations, private equity and start-up ventures.
As a senior member of the executive team, Mr. Freischlag works directly with the other members of the team to set corporate strategy and develop new business opportunities. Paul is also responsible for the architecture and execution of corporate structure, accounting and financial reporting. He is the primary contact for all banking relationships, accounting firms and supervises the internal accounting staff.
Mr. Freischlag has been associated with many high profile business transactions and partners, such as Royal Ahold, Household International, Kohlberg, Kravis and Roberts (KKR) the Stop & Shop Companies, Inc., ShopKo Stores/Provantage Health Services and Price Waterhouse, and has consummated more than $20 billion in debt and equity financing over the past 20 years.
A graduate of University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana) in accountancy, Mr. Freischlag also holds a master’s degree in taxation from DePaul University, is a CPA and a frequent speaker on topics of finance, accounting, corporate governance and real estate at various prominent institutions. He as served as Chairman of the Board of Junior Achievement of Eastern New England (Boston), Corporate Chair of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation in both Boston and Wisconsin.
Mr. Freischlag is a Managing Director and Founder of Triton Value Partners, LLC and Founder and Officer of EHI Management, Inc (a Texas Based Ambulatory Surgery Center Chain).
Andy Williams – Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Williams is has more than 30 years experience in senior leadership roles in startups, mid-size and Fortune 50 companies. Mr. Williams has technology, operations, sales/marketing and international business experience
As a member of the leadership team, Williams works with the others on the leadership team as it pertains to overall strategic direction, strategic partnerships/acquisitions and directly with all of our portfolio companies as it pertains to technology and operations.
Mr. Williams has been a founding member of multiple startup companies focusing on both the public and private sectors with industry experience in finance, hi-tech, travel, and manufacturing.
Mr. Williams is the founder/ CEO of Zypp Technologies which recently joined the Allyne Health portfolio of companies. He is also the founder/CEO of Enablus LLC – an app development company focusing on user experience (UX). Mr. Williams has also held leadership positions at American Express, Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Apple Computer.
KARL D. POEHLS – EVP Finance & Operations
Karl is an accomplished start-up executive with over 10 years in technology, healthcare and advertising start-ups, bringing unique experience to the ALLYNE executive team. Mr. Poehls leads ALLYNE’s accounting, finance and treasury functions, and will play a critical role in operations and information technology and investor relations.
Prior to ALLYNE, Karl led the finance and operations departments of Zenovia Digital Exchange, Inc from inception to a public market event. While there, he executed efforts raising over $15 million for the company in a combination of preferred equity, common equity and secured debt over the course of three years. Ultimately, he, with the help of a great team, brought Zenovia Digital Exchange public in 2015.
Before Zenovia, Mr. Poehls also had experience with Triton Value Partners, supporting various portfolio company and new corporate development efforts, as well as in the finance department at Extendicare, Inc, a leading North American provider of post-acute and long-term senior care services.
